Description
A Persephone brooch by Kimchi and Coconut! This brooch features Persephone and the pomegranate. In Greek mythology, Persephone was kidnapped by Hades and taken to the underworld. During her time there she would not eat but was persuaded to eat a few pomegranate seeds. She was eventually allowed to leave the underworld but had to return to Hades each year for the number of months equal to the seeds she ate. Created in laser cut acrylics with hand painted details. Kimchi and Coconut designs are hand crafted in Walsall, England.

Care:
Like other acrylic pieces you want to avoid dropping or banging your jewelry. Store in a box and keep them out of direct sunlight. Avoid perfumes and other chemicals and don’t get them wet or put them through the wash. Each of these pieces is handmade, so expect slight differences and little imperfections between them.
